There is a wide range of activities for visitors to Svalbard. On these pages you will find a brief description of daily activities available with prices. Further information is in the tour-operators’ programmes. Advance booking is recommended for all activities.

Some activities are available only during certain seasons. Dog-team sledging, snowmobiles and skiing are usually possible from November/December to the last part of May; however, in some areas these activities may be offered during summer as well. The boating-season normally starts in the beginning of June and lasts to the first half of September.
